Rabies symptoms are similar to flu symptoms at the beginning, causing weakness, discomfort, fever and headache. Rabies progresses very quickly, usually ending in death 2 to 10 days after symptoms are presented. The closer the bite wound is to the head the faster symptoms will cause death. Itching or pricking at the bite wound
Anxiety
Confusion
Agitation
Delirium
Hallucinations
Insomnia
Depression
Cerebral dysfunction
Paralysis
Muscle spasm resulting in hydrophobia
